Awaken the ancient body and experience movement as meditation, prayer, and conscious spiritual practice.
Sacred Movement: The Nine of Creation is a six-week Level One journey created and taught by Andrew Guilfoil—Zhor. Through sacred breath, focused meditation, ceremonial posture, symbolic movement, and embodied consciousness, students will explore the Ennead—the nine divine principles of ancient Egyptian creation.
Each week builds upon the one before it, beginning with Atum and the awakening declaration “I AM.” Students will progressively embody the complete Nine of Creation:

• Shu — I BREATHE
• Tefnut — I FEEL
• Geb — I GROUND
• Nut — I EXPAND
• Osiris — I TRANSFORM
• Isis — I REMEMBER
• Set — I FACE THE SHADOW
• Nephthys — I ENTER THE MYSTERY
This is not an ordinary dance class. Sacred Movement is a spiritual practice through the body—a way of opening the heart, expanding consciousness, and allowing movement to become an offering of receiving and giving.
SIX-WEEK COURSE TUITION: $120

COURSE COMPLETION
Because each lesson builds upon the previous week, regular attendance and personal practice are essential. Students are encouraged to practice the assigned breath, meditation, and movement sequence at least three times each week, with brief daily practice welcomed.
The course culminates in a sacred consecration and group offering. Students enter in white ceremonial attire, perform the foundational Atum movement, receive an anointing with sacred oil, and are presented with the royal-purple Level One sash. Together, the group offers the Nine as an embodied prayer of higher consciousness.
Full Level One recognition, consecration, purple sash, and certificate are reserved for students who fulfill the course attendance, practice, and ceremonial requirements. Anyone unable to participate in the scheduled ceremony may complete the consecration at a future approved ceremony.
WHAT TO WEAR
Students should wear comfortable white clothing that permits freedom of movement. Additional ceremonial attire information will be provided during the course.
No previous dance or Sacred Movement experience is required. Adults of all movement abilities are welcome, and movements may be adapted when needed.
